Quistes y fístulas del segundo y tercer arco branquial

              La gran mayoría en un 90% son originarias del segundo arco, siendo raramente encontrados remanentes del tercer arco.

              Los quistes de estos están localizados en el cuello, anterior al músculo esternocleidomastoideo y por encima de su unión a la clavícula, ocasionalmente remanentes del segundo arco pueden encontrarse en el trígono posterior del cuello.

EN LA GRAFICA SUPERIOR SE EVIDENCIA LA FORMACIÓN DEL SENO CERVICAL EL CUAL SE DEBE REABSORBER SI NO LO HACE FORMA ESTOS QUISTES Y O FÍSTULAS.



                                                            

       Los pacientes cursan con aumento de volumen en el cuello anterolateral el cual se inflama e infecta por lo cual se trata con antibioticoterapia y cirugia despues de enfriar el caso.
